Supporting Your Child’s Self-Esteem

March 24 @ 1:00 pm

Free

As children grow up, they form views of themselves as a person, their value as an individual, and how good they are at doing things. An important part of being a parent involves encouraging children to be confident and develop healthy self-esteem. In this workshop we will discuss the differences between and causes of healthy vs. low self-esteem. We will also offer some suggestions to help promote your child’s self-esteem.

We will cover:

  • Why self-esteem is important
  • Encouraging healthy self-esteem
  • Strategies to manage negative self-talk

Our events are a great way to learn new techniques and socialize with other parents/caregivers. Discussions and Workshops are based on specific parenting topics or childhood milestones. We apply the Triple P techniques to these topics. All Triple P events are FREE and facilitated by a licensed Triple P professional.

Free onsite childcare available!

To register, email or call Brittney.
