The Protective Factors Framework helps professionals who work with children and families in promoting the optimal development of all children while protecting vulnerable children from maltreatment. Explore how family history, personality, information seeking, and culture influence parenting behavior. Identify actions to help support and strengthen parenting and integrate these concepts into your work.

The Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework is a national and international initiative that aims to develop and enhance five specific characteristics that help The Center for the Study of Social Policy develop the framework with funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

These courses are FREE and will be conducted in a casual & interactive atmosphere via Zoom. Perfect for early childhood educators, social workers, healthcare professionals & more!
