Triple P Stepping Stones seminars are intended for parents who have children with varying abilities. These FREE seminars are designed to provide an overview and introduction to the principles of positive parenting.

Stepping Stones seminars will enhance parents’ techniques on encouraging their child’s social and communication skills, emotion self-regulation, independence, and problem-solving ability. Accomplishment of these skills promote family harmony, reduces parent-child conflict, fosters successful peer relationships, and prepares children for the challenges they may face at school and throughout their adult life.

Seminar #1: Introducing parents to the seven core principles of positive parenting. These principles provide strategies to increase parental competence and confidence in raising children with a disability. These seminars will support parents in improving their parent-child relationship and developing effective, practical strategies for managing a wide variety of common behavior, developmental, and emotional issues.
