WI Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Competence

This course is designed for professionals working with children young children and their families from birth through six years of age. The content will provide rationale, theory and strategies to address each of the tiers of the Pyramid Model for Social and Emotional Competence: nurturing and responsive relationships, high quality supportive environments, targeted social and emotional supports and intensive interventions. Coursework is designed to address the basic competencies to implement each tier and allows opportunity for participants to reflect on their learning environments and current practices, and to action plan to improve their environments and practices.

Class meets Thursdays 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23 and 3/2. Participants must attend all 8 sessions.

This class is being held at Bear Cubs in Bonduel.
