Are you looking for a position where you could help families and children? Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. is looking for a new team members in a variety of positions to join our team of professionals working to support parents, early childhood professionals and caregivers with programs and resources.

Parent Educator Position- Full Time (2 Positions One to focus on facilitating Group Classes and One to Facilitate Home Visits)

The Parent Educator is responsible for the planning, and delivery of family-based programming, including but not limited to:  home visits; reporting and data collection.  Parent Education/Home visits will take place in Brown County.

Must be able to work flexible schedule to include occasional evenings and weekends to meet clients based on their schedule; must be comfortable working with diverse populations.  The ability to organize, schedule and plan home visits.

Bachelor’s Degree required in Social Work, Family Education, Psychology and or Human Development Preferred; other Bachelor’s degrees would be considered.  Must also have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.

Compensation is based on education and experience.  Starting pay is between $14 and $16 per hour.

Outreach & Communication Coordinator

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead all outreach and communication efforts for a local nonprofit agency.  Our ideal candidate will have the education and experience to create and implement communications throughout our service delivery area to enhance the understanding of our programs and services.  Other duties the Outreach & Communications Coordinator will have include:

  • Lead our agency’s efforts with a variety of platforms for social media and email marketing.
  • Develop and coordinate plans to share program successes annually.
  • Create agency related promotional materials
  • Plan and promote outreach events including our Blue Kite Campaign and Fly a Kite Festival.
  • Assist with fundraising and event management
  • Coordinate volunteers for the agency for events and programming.
  • Build relationships with community partners and leaders

Qualifications

Preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism and at least 2 years related experience.

Lead Childcare Office Support

Hourly Part Time:  15-20 hours per week.  Schedule will flex between daytime and evening programming.  Occasional weekends required.

Job Summary

Provide and ensure adequate child care for programming under direct supervision of the Parent Educator Supervisor.  Provide office support when not performing child care duties.

Compensation is based on education and experience.  Starting pay is between $12 and $14 per hour.
