Parent Educator

Salary: $15.60 to $17.00/hour
Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. has a rewarding opportunity for an individual to make a difference with families in the Green Bay area as a Parent Educator. This individual will be responsible for planning and delivering family-based programming, including home visitation, utilizing the evidence based curriculum Parents as Teachers. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with families one-on-one in their homes, in group settings, and virtually via Zoom. This individual should also have knowledge of local community resources.
In order to meet client needs, our ideal candidate will work a schedule that is flexible, which means occasional evenings and weekends. Comfort and experience working with a diverse population is necessary. Must be computer literate within the Microsoft Office program suite including Microsoft Teams and have an understanding of databases with the ability to keep up-to-date records and case notes. Must also have a good general knowledge of technology and virtual platforms like Zoom, Skype, etc.
Compensation is based on education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Family Education, Psychology, Human Development, or a related field is required. Experience with home visiting is preferred.
