We here at Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. are passionate about healthy child development and preventing child abuse in our community. In efforts to raise money to support more local families, we are gearing up for an exciting new fundraising event.

Bark & Brew has graciously teamed up with us to host a night of fun & fundraising on Friday, September 24th, and we want you to be a part of this event’s success!

We would love to see you there – either joining in on the fundraising festivities OR volunteering at the event! Volunteer positions we are in need of are: set-up from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm, first shift from 4:45 pm – 7:30 pm, second shift from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm, and clean-up from 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Another way you could contribute to the event’s success is by donating a basket or item for the silent auction. Proceeds from the fundraising efforts will go toward FCRNEW’s programs and services, including child abuse prevention and supporting healthy child development.

Join our team as a full-time Parent Educator!

Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. has a rewarding opportunity for an individual to make a difference with families in the Green Bay area as a Parent Educator. This individual will be responsible for planning and delivering family-based programming, specifically Triple P parenting. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with families facilitating group sessions, but also one-on-one, and virtually via Zoom. This individual should also have knowledge of local community resources.

In order to meet client needs, our Parent Educator will work a schedule that is flexible, which means occasional evenings and weekends. Must have reliable transportation as travel within Brown County is required. Comfort and experience working with a diverse population is necessary. The Parent Educator must be computer literate within the Microsoft Office program suite including Microsoft Teams and have an understanding of databases with the ability to keep up-to-date records and case notes. Must also have a good general knowledge of technology and virtual platforms like Zoom, Skype, etc.

Compensation is based on education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Family Education, Psychology, Human Development, or a related field is required for the role of Parent Educator. Experience with family support is preferred.

This is a full time, hourly position. Benefits include Paid Time off; Paid holidays; 15K life insurance policy paid by employer; 3% match retirement program, and a flexible work schedule.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. has an opening for an Early Childhood Consultant. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of optimal environments and experiences in a regulated childcare program, quality improvement with in a childcare setting, adult learning styles, and experience in leading change.

Responsibilities:


A. Provide consultation to childcare programs:

  1. Support Quality Improvement in family childcare and group centers
  2. Participate in professional development opportunities
  3. Participate in monthly calls
  4. Assess programs using quality indicators
  5. Provide support to existing childcare providers/administrators
  6. Report on work performed (Microsoft Office products utilized)

B. Training/Educational Events

  1. Deliver training for childcare providers
