Early Childhood Consultant

Full-time Position
Salary: $16.00 to $18.00/hour
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. has an opening for an Early Childhood Consultant. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of optimal environments and experiences in a regulated childcare program, quality improvement with in a childcare setting, adult learning styles, and experience in leading change.
Responsibilities:
A. Provide consultation to childcare programs:
- Support Quality Improvement in family childcare and group centers
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Participate in monthly calls
- Assess programs using quality indicators
- Provide support to existing childcare providers/administrators
- Report on work performed (Microsoft Office products utilized)
B. Training/Educational Events
- Deliver training for childcare providers
- Participate in agency educational and outreach events

Comments: Healthcare, Dental and Vision are offered with the agency paying at least 50% of single coverage. Coverage for additional family members is available with the employees paying 100% of that coverage.
